Walt Disney and me
Whilst I am happy to be in such esteemed company, I am not sure that Disney – which enjoys a strong relationship with my publisher – would be so happy to read what I wrote about dear old Uncle Walt in S&L. Then again, we all know how the economics of desire can make strange bedfellows of the most unlikely couples. As Bill might have said: Walt Disney and me – who would have thunk it.

"Who would have thunk it?" This is my first visit to your blog, so I am still taking it all in. But the fact that you closed your entry with that line is a sign--a good one. That was a pet expression of my favorite literary sleuth, Archie McNally. I look forward to reading more of your posts.
I hope by reading your blog I will know what parapolitics are without google-ing it. I also loved the movie Amelie which was quite the anomaly in your fav-movie-list, considering your other cinematic choices.
I know it seems like an anomaly, but who can not love Amelie?
