A Halo of Butterflies
It was a good start to a good day. Early sun warmed the shadows. Blossom exploded from trees. The gentle hiss of sprinklers accompanied Melvyn Bragg as he led me through the Battle of Thermopylae.
Crossing Sussex Gardens, I began walking with Muse and gained company. A halo of butterflies circled my head. Two iridescent orange satellites in elliptical orbit. I expected them to decay, but they maintained their dancing formation. I pushed on for a full half mile reborn in the image of Quetzalcoatl. Maybe, just maybe, my mojo is returning.

Oh I'd say the mojo is returning with a vengeance.

OMG, the studios aren't going bankrupt because they're producing crap - it's because you're swiping food from the caterers! Oh, the humanity! ;-) (Nice trick, though.)
I know a mother of a young teenage son who with a group of friends, went to the catering area to get free food from a movie set. They were questioned immediately and they got scared and ran.
The next day they returned; having been a rainy day, they ran and bought the same slickers being worn around the catering area.
My friend's son went up and got himself a plate of what he thought was the most amazing food he ever seen in his life. He sat with other crew members and talked about what a hard day he was having on the set.
His two other friends wearing different colored slickers, were getting their food. Crew members sitting with my son's friend, questioned amongst themselves who they were. My son's friend played along, also questioning his friends at the catering table.
The food was so good, he could not leave it; so he finished, got up and told his lunch partners he was off back to work. They wished him a better day.
So, for you, it sounds as if your mojo never left-it was just in some sort of hibernation, waiting for you, your sunny day and your wonderful, flighty crown.
LOL! I hear you can do that in a crowded Starbucks, too, hang out around the drink counter long enough, look a little impatient, and eventually you'll be asked what your order was. Never been brave enough to try, myself..
Butterflies? How cool!! :-) Here's to your Mojo Rising..
Our place seems to have lots of butterflies of late...unusual for here...around your head...sounds interesting.
