Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead

Watching the transfer of power, watching history, a song became stuck in my head. Once there, I could not dismiss it. I really think the organisers of the inauguration of Barack Hussein Obama missed a trick. The moment W. had the power stripped from him, they should have played Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead.

Ha-ha-ha! Yes, but did you hear the collective sigh of relief at 12 noon? Feel the air current of it from the direction of the U.S.?

It was a good day. :~)

I hope this is so...being an aussie i am always suspicious of theatre...knowing that Bush was a bastard, and that Barrak Hussein Obama is not known to be a bastard...knowing that presidents and primeministers do not make policy...I can only hope he is as good as he seems. Bush had to go but Bush going is nothing, unless those pushing his policies such as the Oil and Pharmaceutical companies, the Nuclear industries and the war industries all leave Washington like the bunch of maggots they are...then and only then can the president govern... he looks a good man
